AS Studio, based in Lisbon and founded by interior designer Andréa Schaefer, develops architecture and interior design projects with a focus on balance, materiality and atmosphere.
The studio works across residential, hospitality and commercial projects, creating spaces that seek harmony between aesthetics, functionality and identity.
Each project is approached with careful attention to proportion, materials and spatial composition, resulting in environments that are elegant, comfortable and timeless.
Developed in close collaboration with clients, every project translates their vision into thoughtfully designed architectural and interior solutions.
Many projects also include a curated selection of design pieces and custom elements, developed in collaboration with Portuguese manufacturers and independent artisans.
WORKING METHOD
Each project is developed through a structured process that accompanies every stage, from the initial understanding of the space to the final implementation.
This approach ensures aesthetic coherence, technical precision and a clear, well-organized experience for the client.
n this initial phase we seek to understand the client in depth — their habits, needs and expectations.
A survey of the space is also carried out, allowing us to identify its potential and define the foundations of the project.
02. PRELIMINARY STUDY
After the concept is validated, the project is developed in greater detail. Materials, colours, lighting, furniture and technical solutions are defined to ensure coherence and identity throughout the space.
04. PROJECT DETAILS
This is the phase where the project comes to life.
The studio oversees orders, suppliers and final installation, ensuring that every detail reflects the concept defined in the project.
01. BRIEFING
Based on the information gathered, the initial concept of the project is developed. At this stage mood boards, visual references and layout proposals are presented, defining the aesthetic and functional direction of the spaces.
03. PROJECT STRUCTURING
Once everything is approved, the technical detailing of all elements required for the implementation of the project is carried out.
This phase ensures clarity and precision for all parties involved.
